The Close
The Close carries the subtitle Straight Line Seduction System. It is the condensed overview of the mindsets, principles and techniques behind the method. I describe it in the catalogue as the book I wish I had when I began learning.
Its role is to explain the framework in practical terms. That makes it the starting point for a reader who wants to understand the philosophy before examining the more specialised material.
What followed the first book
The Close is the first book in the original trilogy. SDL King follows it with a three-step practical recipe. The Chemistry of Seduction then addresses the individual routines, moves and patterns and how they fit together.
The later Straight Line Sex System is a separate title that concentrates the method into fewer repeatable lines and moves. The similar names can be confusing, so it helps to keep the role of each book in view. The original philosophy, the practical recipe and the collection of routines answer related but different questions.
