This is the follow-up to the feet episode. Most of what she is telling you is not in the sentence. I put the number around eighty percent. The words are the part you already know how to hear. The upper body is the part men talk over.
Watch the arms, the shoulders, the angle of her chest, whether she turns in or seals herself off. Folded arms are information. So is the moment she unfolds them. A lean toward you is information. A lean toward the door is information. You do not need a secret code. You need to stop narrating your own opener long enough to see what her body already answered.
This episode stays on the upper body on purpose. The feet episode covered the ground. Here I want you looking at the frame of the conversation, the part of her that is in your eyeline while you talk. If her torso is closed and her face is smiling, believe the torso. The smile is cheap. The posture is expensive to fake for a whole interaction.
Read it early. If you wait until the date is dying, you are reading a result you already caused. The useful read happens while you can still change what you do next. Slow down, drop the script, and let the next line come from what you just saw.
The cover is that moment. Her arms are folded. You are still in the conversation. That is the skill. Notice it, then respond to it, instead of pushing the line you planned before you walked up.
