You want the hot girl, the good body, the business and the freedom. Fair enough. But do you want the work that comes with any of those things? Because that is usually where the conversation gets a little quiet.
Travelling through Latin America brought me back to something very simple. I used dating apps and had success with them. Yet the women I really wanted to meet were often the women I met by getting out, seeing somebody I found attractive and approaching her. The easy option was sitting on my phone. The useful option required me to do something.
That difference matters. Especially when you have spent another evening swiping and somehow convinced yourself that this counts as working on your dating life.
The discomfort is part of the job
When you approach a woman, you might feel uncomfortable. Other people can see you. She might not be interested. You cannot edit the message fifteen times before pressing send. You have to stand there as yourself and find out what happens.
That is precisely the thing most men would prefer to avoid. They would like the result without the possibility of looking foolish on the way to it. So they all crowd into the easiest channel and then complain about the competition.
Look at getting into good physical shape. You have to train, eat sensibly and keep doing it. If a good body arrived with the gym membership, everybody who signed up in January would look fantastic by February. The membership gives you somewhere to do the work. It cannot do the work for you.
A seduction system has the same limitation. It can show you what to do, explain why and remove a lot of unnecessary confusion. You still have to leave the house.
Stop negotiating with your mood
I use the word professionalism here because it describes something useful. You do what needs doing regardless of whether you happen to feel excited about it today.
That doesn't mean every difficult activity is valuable. You can make your life unnecessarily miserable and achieve absolutely nothing. The point is to accept the difficulty attached to a worthwhile activity instead of using it as evidence that you should quit.
If meeting women matters to you, make room for meeting women. Go somewhere you actually want to spend time. When you see a woman you find attractive, introduce yourself. You don't need to turn an ordinary hello into an Olympic event.
If she isn't interested, leave her alone and carry on with your day. You have found out something useful. Spending another hour arguing with yourself about whether she might have liked you would not have produced better information.
Use the recipe, then practise it
This is why I wrote SDL King. The steps, the mindsets and the movement through an interaction are laid out so you don't have to invent everything from scratch. You can study a process and then find out how you apply it in reality.
Reading should make your next attempt clearer. It should never become an elaborate excuse for postponing that attempt. The guy who understands one useful thing and practises it has something to review afterwards. The guy collecting his fiftieth theory has another theory.
Choose a time this week, go out and do the work you keep putting off. Notice where the process breaks down. Come back with an actual question from an actual interaction. That is how a system becomes a skill.
