Same subject as the other upper-body episode, because it is the same recording uploaded under a second title. I am not going to pretend it is a different lesson. The teaching is the follow-up to the feet video, and it is about reading the upper body while the interaction is still alive.

Her posture is the signal. Arms, shoulders, the way she faces you or faces away. Most men are listening for a sentence that gives them permission. The permission, or the refusal, is already in how she is standing. If you are leaning in across the table and she is leaning out, you do not have a wording problem. You have a read you are ignoring.

I say about eighty percent of the communication is nonverbal. Use that as a working rule, not as a magic statistic to quote. It means your eyes should be doing as much work as your mouth. Watch what changes after you say something. If she opens up, you can go further. If she closes, you back off the line you were about to deliver and you deal with the thing that closed her.

Scripts fail here because a script cannot see her. It only knows the next sentence. This episode is the argument for throwing the script down once the conversation has started and letting her body set the pace.

Notice the signal. Then move. The men who get stuck are still talking through a closed posture because the line in their head has not finished yet.
