Verbal cold. Physical direct. That is the combination I want on this episode. You do not announce the escalation with a speech about how attracted you are. You also do not hover at a polite distance and hope she guesses. The words can stay cool. The move has to be clear.
One of the moves I talk about is simple and fully clothed. A finger through the belt loop, close enough that she knows it was deliberate. It is a test and an invitation at the same time. If she moves in, you continue. If she moves off, you have your answer without a speech you now have to apologise for.
Men get this backwards. They get verbally heavy and physically absent. They talk about chemistry while standing like a colleague. Or they grab before the conversation has given them any right to be that close. Indirect-direct means the tone stays light and the body tells the truth. She should feel the intent in the distance, not in a paragraph.
The cover is two hands on a night street because the episode is about the move, not about a slogan. Make the move. Keep your mouth from over-explaining it.
If you have been "escalating" by sending warmer texts and standing further away, you are doing the reverse of this. Cool the language down. Close the distance on purpose. Then read what she does with her body, because that answer is faster and cleaner than anything she will say to protect the mood.
