What does abundance with women actually mean? A good weekend? A long list of numbers? Telling yourself that you have an abundance mindset while checking whether one particular girl has replied?

For me, abundance means that you know how to create the opportunities you want. You are no longer relying on one lucky interaction and hoping you can somehow repeat it. You have a process, you practise it and you have enough experience to understand what your effort tends to produce.

That is why I want to put something measurable underneath the word. Otherwise abundance becomes another nice-sounding idea that means whatever the person selling it wants it to mean.

What are your abundance statistics?

In the episode I draw a deliberately rough graph. One axis represents approach volume. The other represents how attractive you find the women you are meeting. Different lines represent men with different combinations of market value and seduction skill.

The drawing is a way of thinking about the problem. It is not a scientific ranking of human beings, and the illustrative numbers are not promises about your next week.

The useful question is simple. With your current appearance, social behaviour and skill, how much activity does it usually take to create the kind of dating life you want?

If you have never recorded anything, you probably don't know. You remember the spectacular rejection. You remember the unusually good night. The ordinary weeks in between tend to disappear. That is a terrible basis for deciding whether you are improving.

Track what you do and what happens. Give yourself enough experience to see a pattern. A single result can be luck, good or bad. A sustained record gives you something better to work with than your mood on Sunday evening.

Volume and skill work together

More approaches create more opportunities. But if your process is poor, you can spend a great deal of time repeating the same mistakes. That is exhausting, and eventually you start blaming the city, the women or the universe.

On the other hand, reading about technique while doing almost nothing gives that technique nowhere to work. Even a capable guy has to meet women. Skill is not a service that delivers somebody to your sofa while you watch television.

Then there is market value. Dress properly. Take care of your hygiene. Present yourself like a man who takes his own life seriously. I can explain a seduction process. I cannot make ignoring the rest of your presentation a brilliant strategy.

Those pieces interact. Improving the process makes your activity more useful. Improving your presentation can make that process easier to execute. Consistent activity then shows you what is changing.

Fewer things, done better

The Straight Line Sex System comes from this desire to simplify. Learn a small set of lines and moves, understand the sequence and repeat it. Give yourself a process you can actually execute instead of a library of competing theories you cannot remember when a woman is standing in front of you.

You can then ask a much better question. Where am I losing the interaction? At the approach? When suggesting a date? Because I never make my interest clear? That is something you can work on.

Set a realistic amount of time for practice and record the results honestly. Don't borrow somebody else's illustrative number and turn it into a deadline for yourself. Find out what your own effort produces, improve the part that needs work and keep going.

Abundance becomes useful when you can explain how you create it. Until then, it is just a word.
