Men ask this as if they want a statistic. They want permission. If the answer is no, they can stop trying. If the answer is yes, they want it to be automatic.

The question is the wrong shape
Some do. Some do not. That is not useful. The useful question is whether you are a specific man she wants to sit with, or a category she is being asked to approve in the abstract.
Age is visible. So is how you hold yourself, how you talk, whether you are trying to rent a youth you did not build. A fifty-year-old who is trying to be twenty-five is easy to read. A fifty-year-old who is actually in his life is a different offer.

What you do with a short answer
If you are older and you want younger women, you still have to approach, lead, and be someone she enjoys. The age gap does not do the work. It also does not forbid the work.
If you are using the question to delay going out, you already have your answer. You were never asking about Latinas. You were asking whether you could stay home.
