This one is an add-on with Tom Torero. We recorded it after a Munich bootcamp, at the airport, still hung over from the week. The subject is simple. Which of the rules men repeat about dating are worth keeping, and which ones are just habits that sound like wisdom because someone said them first.

A rule is useful when it comes from a result you can see. A rule is dead weight when it only protects you from trying the thing that would have worked. Men collect both kinds and then treat them as the same list. They will skip a direct opener because a forum said to be indirect. They will drag a date out for weeks because someone told them women need time. Sometimes that advice matches the woman in front of them. Often it is just fear with a citation.

Tom and I go through the rules the way we actually use them in the field. Some you break on purpose. Some you keep because breaking them costs you the girl. The point is to know which is which while you are standing there, not to own a philosophy you can quote later.

I am not going to invent Tom's face for a thumbnail or for this page. The conversation is the episode. Listen to how he talks about a rule once the bootcamp is over and the sets are finished. That is more useful than a slogan about being a rebel.

If you are still running your approaches off a list you memorised, this episode is the audit. Keep the rule that produces the date. Drop the rule that only keeps you polite and alone. We recorded it tired, which is usually when the honest version comes out.
