Start with her baseline. Before you decide that a gesture means she likes you, you need the base rate of how she already behaves. Some women talk with their hands. Some stand closed even when they are interested. If you skip the baseline, you will read your own hope into a habit she had before you arrived.

Once you have the baseline, you can test. Say something direct and watch whether she opens or closes relative to her own normal. If she opens, continue. If she returns to the baseline or goes colder than it, you have your answer and you stop decorating it.
